Hear an Unreleased Track From Alan Jackson’s New Career-Defining Collection
Few artists in any genre have enjoyed contemporary success on the level of country superstar Alan Jackson, who during his tenure at Arista Nashville recorded an extraordinary 50 Top 10 hits. Jackson is poised to release a new set, Genuine: The Alan Jackson Story, on November 6, which offers up 59 classic recordings drawn from all phases of Jackson’s career at Arista Nashville, plus eight previously unreleased tracks.
Yahoo Music is pleased to debut one of these tracks, “Ain’t Just a Southern Thing,” for fans to discover and enjoy.
Jackson was the first artist signed to the newly formed Arista Nashville imprint, shortly after the label’s launch in 1989. There, he honed his unique blend of traditional American honky-tonk, bluegrass, gospel and mainstream country music. For more information on his new collection, check here.
