The legendary Chuck Berry died over the weekend. Pretty much every band today owes a debt to Chuck Berry -- the dude more or less invented rock and roll music -- and a whole bunch of people decided to pay tribute by covering "Johnny B. Goode," perhaps his most iconic song.
Everyone from Green Day to Sting to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Dropkick Murphys performed it live in concert over the past couple of days, and you can watch some of their performances below.
We lost Chuck Berry yesterday. Without Chuck Berry, there's no Rolling Stones, there's no Beatles, there's no me. He was an incredibly influential musician and amazing lyricist. Though I'd never sung this song before, I wanted to find a way to pay tribute to him because we owe him so much. Video by @Sallykfischer @sallyfischerpr
