Good Charlotte Returns on New Song… With Waka Flocka!
Who says rap-rock is dead? Not Waka Flocka, and certainly not Good Charlotte. That’s right, Good Charlotte – not just the Madden Brothers, as songwriters Benji and Joel Madden have been billing themselves lately.
Yesterday (June 2), Waka Flocka dropped a new song called “Game On,” featuring the Maryland rock band, which had been on hiatus since 2011.
The song comes from the soundtrack to the forthcoming Sony film Pixels, which drops on July 24.
Though G.C. has been on hiatus, Benji and Joel released the album Greetings from California as the Madden Brothers on Capitol Records in 2014. Waka Flocka is expected to release Flockaveli II – the follow-up to his 2010 classic – some time this year.
