Get a Taste of Saxon’s New Album Ahead of Release Date

British heavy metal legends Saxon are poised to ] release their new album, Battering Ram, via UDR Music on October 30. The set marks the band’s 21st studio record, following 2013’s Sacrifice.

Yahoo Music is excited to offer up a five-song sampler of Battering Ram for fans to get a taste of the band’s latest sounds. “This one’s a natural progression from Sacrifice,” explains frontman Biff Byford, “There’s a bit less rock’n’roll and a bit more ‘heavy’ on it. We wanted to keep focused on a style rather than moving around too much.”
