The genius behind ‘Hamilton’ makes a secret song for ‘Star Wars’ fans
You thought you knew everything there is to know about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, didn’t you? Well, then you’ll be happy to discover a neat Star Wars song written for this year’s “May the 4th” celebration. It turns out that none other than Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda composed a secret song for The Force Awakens that you can grab today and listen to it in its entirety.

Hamilton is the Broadway hit that’s sold out at least until January 2017; that’s how good Miranda’s play it is. And that’s why many people will probably be interested to hear his Star Wars creation.
Miranda worked on Jabba Flow in secret, Mashable reports, during breaks in his Broadway show. Not even the cast knew that he was working on music that would be used in the movie. Jabba Flow is the reggae song that you hear in The Force Awakens when Han, Fin, and Rey enter Maz Kanata’s castle. However, the song isn’t included in the official soundtrack of the movie and it hasn't been available to download until today.
Hilariously, the song is written in Huttese, Jabba the Hutt's language, and translates to "no, lover lover, it wasn't me."
Miranda performed it live with J.J. Abrams on Wednesday morning while explaining how the song came to be – see the following video. Jabba Flow is now available on StarWars.com, and can be purchased from iTunes.
