Frank Ocean Gets Marvel Comic Book Cover

The latest run of hip-hop inspired comic book variant covers from Marvel has been revealed, with the most notable one being Royals #1’s play on Frank Ocean’s Blondecover art. Other artists that are referenced in this new series include Tupac Shakur, Rae Sremmurd, Method Man, RZA, and more. Check out the variant cover below, and all of the newest ones here. In the past, artists like Beyoncé and Run the Jewels have gotten nods from Marvel in their cover series. Ocean most recently released a new song with Calvin Harris and Migos called “Slide.”
