The Fall drummer Keiron Melling is recovering from head injuries after being brutally assaulted on a train from Manchester Victoria to Blackburn on Monday, March 27, as Fact points out. Melling, who has drummed in the Mark E. Smith-led band since 2006, was “beaten to a pulp” and found “lying in a pool of blood,” according to the Manchester Evening News.
