Enrique Iglesias scores his 40th hit on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated March 18), as his new single "Subeme La Radio" -- featuring Descemer Bueno and Zion & Lennox -- debuts at No. 3 on the multi-metric tally. The arrival marks the singer's fourth-best entry ever, following a No. 2 bow with his previous chart hit, "Duele El Corazon," featuring Wisin (May 7, 2016). His best debuts came in 1997 when both "Enamorado Por Primera Vez" and "Solo En Ti" each entered at No. 1 (at the time, the chart was purely based on airplay).
"Subeme La Radio" sold 12,000 downloads in the tracking week ending March 2, according to Nielsen Music, prompting a No. 1 debut on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart -- becoming Iglesias' highest first-week sales on the chart. "Duele El Corazon" was his previous best when it arrived with 7,000 downloads.
The track earned 3.1 million streams in the most recent week and bows at No. 7 on Latin Streaming Songs. Of its total, 60 percent stem from YouTube where a music video, filmed in Cuba, was uploaded on Feb. 24 and has amassed over 47 million global views to date. The clip follows Iglesias through the streets of Havana, surrounded by fans, and donning the same bloodied white T-shirt that he was wearing during a drone accident at a concert in 2015 that led to reconstructive hand surgery.
At radio, the single starts with 16.1 million audience impressions in the week ending March 5, earning a No. 3 entry on the Latin Airplay chart. WSKQ, New York, provided the track's largest audience for the week (2.9 million impressions), while KXOL, Los Angeles championed the track with the most spins (91).
Meanwhile, the song spends a second straight week at the No. 21 spot on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks, a weekly ranking of the most shared and/or mentioned songs on Twitter in the U.S., ranked by the volume of shares over a seven-day period (Monday to Sunday).
