Eminem's Shady Records Donates $10K to Sean Price Family Fund: Report

Eminem’s Shady Records has donated $10,000 to the family of Sean Price, following the Brooklyn rapper’s death earlier this month.

The donation was made to a Duck Down Music-managed CrowdRise crowdsourcing fundraiser to assist Price’s family, as HipHopDX reports. With Shady Music’s donation, the total is now over $86,318.

Price died in his sleep on Aug. 8 at the age of 43. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, told AllHipHop following Price’s death, “I swear I just told Marshall (Eminem) on Thursday that Sean was my current favorite. I hung on every word in his verses.”

Shady Records denied Billboard’s request for comment.
