Emily Ratajkowski went from anonymous model to a recognizable name in pop culture thanks to her memorable, mainly naked turn in Robin Thicke’s controversial “Blurred Lines” video.
That music video attracted nearly as many detractors as eyeballs. Among those detractors? “Blurred Lines” star Emily Ratajkowski.
The model-actress recently told U.K. InStyle she was annoyed while filming the clip, and at this point, she's sick to death of talking about the video that directly led to her career-starting role in Gone Girl (David Fincher has said as much in interviews).

“I wasn’t into the idea at all at first. I think I came off as a bit annoyed in the video. Now, it’s the bane of my existence,“ she told InStyle (via JustJared). “When anyone comes up to me about 'Blurred Lines,’ I’m like, are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?”
Three years ago? A lifetime! But in all seriousness, there is something more relevant to speak about with Ratajkowski these days: We Are Your Friends, the Zac Efron DJ movie that gave the actress her first starring role, set a record for having one of the worst opening weekends in movie history. So at least that’s a recent topic to touch on if you find yourself chatting with her.
