You can't ever go so far that you can't get back home again. Eats Everything must be feeling that sentiment a little bit right now, as he find himself welcomes back into the Dirtybird flock.
The Bristol-bred DJ and producer got his big break on Claude VonStroke's trend-setting label, and while he's explored other venues and began his own outlet Edible Records, he's always got mad love for his San Francisco fam. His latest release comes courtesy of Dirtybird, a two-track EP called Clash of the Tight-Uns, a collaborative effort with Lord Leopard. It's funky and wonky and dark and sexual, and in honor of its release, Eats Everything shares five of his favorite Dirtybird records of all time. Check them out below, and listen to Clash of the Tight-Uns or buy it up, exclusively on Billboard Dance.
J. Phlip - Big Ass, Party Hat
This track is filled with so much groove, perfect to get people moving at the beginning of your set.
Catz 'n Dogz - Who Said It's Time
Released on Dirtybird's 10th anniversary compilation, this track is such a banger. The slow build up into the bass-heavy drop always gets the crowd going.
Justin Martin & Ardalan - Wheelgunner (Dub)
This is the only track I will ever rewind because it's just so massive!
Justin Martin - Ruff Stuff
Such a huge nostalgic track with that infamous wobbling bassline.
Shiba San - OKAY
This was such a big release for Dirtybird with it's incredibly groovy drop. His upcoming release on the label 'Up & Down' is set to be another huge success.
