Drake Gave A Surprise Performance Outside Of Raptors Game

Drake performed hit singles outside of a Toronto Raptors game on April 29.

Drake is like the gift that keeps on giving. Only hours after Drizzy dropped his highly anticipated album, VIEWS, the rapper gave an impromptu performance outside of a Toronto Raptors game on April 29.

After the Raptors took on the Indiana Pacers, Drake gathered a number of fans outside of the Air Canada Centre for a mini set. Unfortunately, fans didn’t get to hear any singles from his new album, but the OVO rapper did perform his hit single from If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, “Energy.”

Additionally, as seen on the videos taken by spectating fans, Drake took a moment from performing to express his undying love for his fans, and his hometown. “I love everybody in this city. I love this city. I’ll die for this city. It’s the greatest place in the world, with the greatest people in the world,” he addressed the crowd.

This was definitely a night to remember for the lucky few who got to see Drake up close and personal. As for those who couldn’t be there, you’ll just have to grab a ticket to one of Drake’s stops on his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future.
