Nov.28 -- The Donald Trump factor is losing its sway over global financial markets. Trades that performed best in the three weeks since Trump’s shock election victory took a breather Monday, with the dollar falling the most since September and S&P 500 Index futures signaling U.S. stocks will slip from all-time highs. While President-elect Trump’s pledges to boost infrastructure spending have fueled bets on stronger U.S. growth and higher interest rates, investors are reassessing their wagers before updates on America’s gross domestic product, personal spending and nonfarm payrolls this week.
