Depeche Mode announced the upcoming release of their 14th studio album, Spirit, during a press conference from Milan on Tuesday morning (Oct. 11). The follow-up to 2013's Delta Machine -- the veteran group's first for Columbia Records -- is slated for an as-yet-unannounced date in spring 2017. The album is being produced by James Ford.

Delta Machine debuted and peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart. The group has racked up nine top 40-charting albums in its career, with seven of those reaching the top 10.
