Dawes Rock 'Letterman' With 'Most People'

Dawes gave viewers a taste of their new album Stories Don't End last night on the Late Show With David Letterman, where they performed their latest single, "Most People." The musicians from L.A. were every bit the rockers their throw-back Seventies California style makes them out to be, sporting vintage allure as they rolled through the hook-y tune. "Most People," from the band's third album, digs with breezy introspection into the insights of a complicated woman living in a broken paradise. Singer-guitarist-songwriter Taylor Goldsmith could just as easily have been recounting the same vivid story to friends in a bar somewhere over whiskey, and the message of frustration, attraction and passion would have been just as poignant.
