After months of swirling rumors, details of the new Daft Punk album are finally surfacing. Random Access Memories will be coming out May 21st on the imprint Daft Life Limited through Columbia Records.
The French duo's follow-up to 2010's Tron: Legacy soundtrack became available for pre-order on iTunes this afternoon. The site indicates that there will be 13 tracks on the album, but the titles are not yet listed.
Daft Punk gave a small taste of Random Access Memories earlier this month when it aired a mysterious 15-second trailer featuring new music during a Saturday Night Live broadcast, though the title and release date remained unknown at the time. Producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers has also been dropping hints about his own involvement in the new album.
