Chris Brown suffered a seizure at a recording studio in Los Angeles early Friday morning. According to TMZ, the L.A. City Fire Department responded to a 911 call at the Record Plant shortly after 1 a.m. on August 9th, but Brown declined hospitalization and treatment from the paramedics.
A representative for Brown confirmed to Us Weekly that the 24-year-old singer had suffered a non-epileptic seizure (NES) and was not hospitalized.
"His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress," the representative said, "both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."
Among the recent sources of stress for Brown could have been his time in jail earlier this week. After pleading not guilty to charges from an alleged hit-and-run in May, Brown turned himself into police and was jailed for about 40 minutes on Monday.
