Carrie Underwood heads up the most recent tally of Hot Tours (see list below) with $4.8 million in sales from her Storyteller trek, now in its homestretch with just a handful of performances remaining. Included in this recap are concerts dated Nov. 6 through 17 at seven arenas from the tour's fall North American leg. With 69,970 tickets sold at these seven shows, the overall attendance climbs to just over 800,000 for the year. The overall gross since the tour launched in January hits $54.6 million with only four performances left to be reported before the finale at the end of November.
Rod Stewart follows in the second slot on the weekly top 10 tours list with ticket sales reported from arenas in Belfast and Dublin. The veteran rocker has been touring in European cities during much of the year following a May 14 kick-off in Amsterdam. He included the SSE Arena in Belfast and Dublin's 3Arena on his fall trek through the U.K. Sales from both venues totaled $3.4 million from 32,510 sold seats. Each venue hosted the tour for two performances.
The tour -- titled From Gasoline Alley to Another Country -- uses the names of Stewart's solo career-launching album from 1970 and his most recent 2015 releases. From 22 shows reported this year, box office revenue tops $30 million from 267,390 sold tickets. He will remain on the road in the U.K. through mid-December.
Maxwell and Mary J. Blige earn a Hot Tours mention, taking No. 6 on the tally with a concert reported from their co-headlining trek this fall in North American arenas. Following a string of European dates in October, the pair's King and Queen of Hearts World Tour began stateside on Nov. 5 in Baltimore and will continue through Dec. 14, wrapping in Chicago.
Reported this week was the Nov. 10 performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The Live Nation-produced show grossed $1.2 million from 11,815 sold seats. R&B newcomer Ro James is providing support for the tour.
