Calvin Harris is adding yet another star-studded collaboration to his collection of hits. The DJ announced Tuesday (March 28) that his next track will feature Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams and Young Thug.
In his Twitter announcement, Harris revealed that his next song will be titled "Heatstroke," but did not give a release date. Along with the desert-inspired song artwork, Harris also unveiled a credits listing of all the people involved in the making of the track. Williams, Young Thug (whose real name is Jeffery Williams) and Harris himself had a hand in writing "Heatstroke," along with Brittany Hazzard, better known as singer Starrah.
Although Harris didn't share a teaser of the song, the credit list shows that the song features a real piano, an electric piano, a flexitone, a synthesizer and a 1965 Fender Stratocaster. Combine all that with Harris and his latest collaborators, and it sounds like we're bound for one groovy tune.
"Heatstroke" is the follow-up to Harris' most recent all-star collab "Slide," featuring Frank Ocean and Migos. Needless to say, Harris is lining up the A-list talent for his 2017 material.
