‘X Factor” Contestant Chris Rene Channels David Silver in Peach Pit-Worthy Music Video

First, "X Factor" champion Melanie Amaro went on all '90s on her Hi-NRG first single, and now her fellow Season 1 finalist Chris Rene has made a music video for his signature song, "Young Homie," that basically looks like it was cobbled together from footage of the intros to "Beverly Hills 90210" and "The Heights" and a 1992 Gap commercial. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. I always thought there was a sort of '90s-throwback vibe to Chris's entire aesthetic, so this distressed-denim, David-Silvery video actually works for him.

Yeah, I can totally imagine Donna Martin getting down to this track at the Peach Pit After Dark. What do you think of Chris Rene's "Young Homie" video? Think it can be a hit in the year 2012?
