‘X Factor’ Alum Rachel Crow Releases Anti-Bullying Video, “Mean Girls”

Reality Rocks

‘X Factor’ Alum Rachel Crow Releases Anti-Bullying Video, “Mean Girls”Rachel Crow is perhaps best remembered as the "X Factor" tween who dramatically dropped to her knees and sobbed uncontrollably for her mommy when she was shockingly eliminated in fifth place last year, after Nicole Scherzinger failed to save her. But now Rachel, who recently signed a deal with Nickelodeon, is wiping away those tears and having the last laugh in her first music video, for the age-appropriate empowerment anthem "Mean Girls."

Aside from her infamous elimination-night meltdown, Rachel was usually seen on TV being all plucky and precocious, looking like a virtual curly-haired ball of sunshine, occasionally to the point of even being borderline-annoying. So I totally respect that she decided to go with a more serious anti-bullying message for her first single and video. I imagine that many parents will appreciate Rachel putting out music that they can feel comfortable playing for their children, and I also think Rachel's many young and impressionable admirers will relate to "Mean Girls." you think this video was simply directed at Nicole Scherzinger? Ha.
