Believe it or not, Miley Cyrus has managed to top her wild, twerking, foam finger pointing Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke.
Miley recruited a band of five little people to accompany her on stage for German TV game show "Schlagg Den Raab."
Miley's ensemble included a female keytarist/dancer, two guitarists, drummer and producer on a drum machine.
As usual, Miley was in full party mode as she sang "We Can't Stop," wearing cut off shorts, a leather bustier and a glittery jacket.
Miley was actually upstaged during a dance off with the other woman in the limelight. When the sultry keytarist took a break from playing air guitar to display her twerking skills, Miley patted her rear.
Miley shared a moment with the drummer, briefly taking a seat next to his drum kit that bears a picture of the starlet sticking out her tongue.
When Miley rocked out with the guitarist center stage, he made her laugh when he mimicked her signature tongue gesture, prompting her to do the same.
Much of the reaction online is critical. Some viewers believe that using dwarves is just another publicity stunt to generate hype for her "Bangerz" album out next month. Others find her amusing.
I'm fine with Miley's contrived efforts to sell records, but I hope she realizes that it's not easy to abandon such a tacky, party girl image.
Here's what people are saying on Twitter:
Do not watch the video of Miley Cyrus with the band of little people. I watched it for you & am now deader inside. You're welcome. #courage— Holly (@holly_holl) September 9, 2013
