Taylor Swift’s New Song Is About…Kevin Hart?! Watch Funny New VMAs Spot

The secret is out--it's finally revealed just which ex Taylor Swift is referring to in her new hit single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"! Well, at least MTV's 2012 VMAs host Kevin Hart thinks he's solved the mystery: It's him, of course. Didn't you know?

In the latest promo for this year's awards show, the comedian storms in on an unwitting Swift, who's just sitting there playing her guitar and singing...you know, doing that regular old Taylor thing. "For the last time, stop writing songs about me," Hart snaps, explaining he is not about to be embarrassed on his big night hosting the VMAs . "I'm not going to go up there and be known as 'Mr. Ex-Taylor Swift'!"

"This is not about you," retorts Swift, adding, "I met you one time two years ago, for like five minutes."

Hart then offers photographic "proof" of his relationship with Swift--which is so hysterical you'll just have to see for yourselves above; I don't want to spoil the fun. One hint: Let's just say Jake Gyllenhaal should enjoy seeing this one.

On an unrelated note, the polka-dot top Swift is wearing in the spot looks an awful lot like the one she sported last Friday. Where she was making out with new beau Conor Kennedy. Take that, Kevin!

The 2012 VMAs will air live from Los Angeles on September 6, at 8 p.m. ET.
