The 2013 MTV VMAs are set to air tonight from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and it sounds like the show has a couple tricks up its sleeve.
For starters … Katy Perry plans to "roar" all the way from underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The 28-year-old star will close out the show and perform her new single, "Roar," underneath the iconic New York City landmark.
According to UsWeekly, Perry originally hoped to debut her new music from her upcoming album, "Prism," on top of the bridge, but city officials put the kibosh on those plans. Nonetheless, singing underneath a 100-year-old bridge will certainly trump the MTV VMA stage.
The "California Girls" songbird's performance isn't the only thing music fans have to look forward to.
While everyone is still clamoring from the news that an 'NSync reunion seems inevitable, there is another band with plans to reunite at the VMAs: Danity Kane.
The girl group, which includes, Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Audrea Fimbres, told their Twitter followers they are "officially back" and to tune into the VMAs to get the official news.

The spicy songbirds, who got their start in 2005 with Diddy and the MTV show "Making the Band," went their separate ways in 2009, after two certified platinum albums. But in May, the gals were spotted having lunch with their former manager, prompting fans to believe that a reunion was in the works. It looks like it is true!
What are you most excited to see tonight? Katy Perry's performance, Danity Kane's comeback, or 'NSync's reunion?
