Florida's Surfer Blood has been attracting hordes of attention since breaking out on the music scene in 2009, and needless to say, their buzz hasn't diminished yet. The band released their sophomore set, Pythons, in June, featuring the work of Pixies producer Gil Norton; raves and comparisons to indie-rock icons such as Weezer continue to flood in.
Those who are fans of the band know the hype is real. Case in point: Here's a first look at Surfer Blood performing "Fast Jabroni" (from their 2010 debut full-length Astro Coast) for their "At: Guitar Center with Nic Harcourt" podcast.
The podcast's host, longtime and respected musical tastemaker Nic Harcourt, had this to say about the performance: "We highlight a diverse range of artists on the podcast series; artists from all genres, both established and up and coming. Surfer Blood have been buzzing for a while now and are a perfect example of our goal to bring an eclectic musical mix to the series." Want to hear the podcast's interview with the band?
