Stars Remember Lou Reed on Twitter

Lou Reed passes away, stars react on Twitter.

Rest in peace, Lou Reed.

The Velvet Underground's lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist died today at the age of 71. Reed, who is best known for his work with the 1960s rock band, has long been touted as one of the most influential musicians in rock history. Between his time with his band, hi solo career, which included hits like "Walk on the Wild Side," and collaborations with David Bowie, Metallica, The Killers and more, Reed's passing is certainly a huge loss in the music world.

Stars around the globe are reacting to Reed's recent passing. Check out how they remember the "Transformer" rocker.

Lou Reed RIP - always inspired by him - terrible news - only knew him through his art -a great - a singular poet -
