Sean Kingston is up on his pop culture. The Jamaican singer offered his artistic perspective on some of this week's hottest music news topics during a recent sit down with Yahoo! Music's The Aftermath, the best music discussion on the 'net.

Kingston said he approved of Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber's appearances on Lil Twist's leaked "Twerk" song. "It was cool," the "Beautiful Girls" singer said. He also gave props to Rah Digga who just dropped the song "New Hoes," a mixtape cover of Kanye West's "New Slaves." "She's rapping about all the girls out there and how they dressing nowadays," he said. And the artist releasing his album "Back 2 Life" on September 10, didn't seem surprised that former United States Secretary of States Colin Powell was in the Hamptons on stage partying Jamie Foxx and Pharrell Williams.
