Amanda Bynes may just make a rap album yet. After Wyclef Jean denied that he would produce an album for the former child star following her announcement that she was embarking on a singing career, rapper Waka Flocka Flame has stepped up to the plate.
The actress – whose behavior has been increasingly erratic in recent months and includes being arrested for driving under the influence, allegedly throwing a bong out of a 36th floor window and showing up in court wearing a fright wig – recently announced on Twitter that she's "looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"
Now Waka, who runs Brick Squad Monopoly records, tells TMZ that he's hashing out a deal with Bynes and the record is going to be legendary.
The rapper said that he and Bynes make calls to each other using FaceTime every week and text every day, and claims that the album will be called Shots and "it's going to be crazy hot." The deal apparently hasn't been inked yet, but Waka says it's just a matter of time.
When asked whether he thinks Bynes may have some issues to deal with, he said, "Not at all. She has it all together to me. She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game."
As for deciding to work with Bynes before she receives professional help, we think the rapper might just be...waka.
