New Sia Video Stars Heidi Klum, GoT Hunk...But Where's Maddie?
What do you get when you mix Heidi Klum, a hot TV series star, and an empty bedroom? Why, the latest music video from Sia, appropriately called “Fire Meet Gasoline.”
If you didn’t happen recognize the smokin’ hot guy, you probably don’t watch Game of Thrones. His name is Pedro Pascal, and last season he played fan favorite Oberyn Martell.
Of course, everyone knows Heidi Klum, the superest of the supermodels. But she had some big -- well, actually, little -- shoes to fill in Sia’s latest video, subbing in for 12-year-old dancer Maddie Ziegler who became the singer’s go-to muse first in “Chandelier," then opposite Shia LaBeouf in the more controversial video for “Elastic Heart," and finally in “Big Girls Cry” where she continued her streak of wildly expressive dance moves.
So why is Maddie missing from “Fire Meet Gasoline”? You could argue the steamy content is inappropriate for a 12-year-old; however, the tween's dance moves with LaBeouf in "Elastic Heart" (already and also) raised eyebrows, making her absence from this clip even more mysterious.
Sia herself is not in the video, either. As she noted on Facebook, she claims that she had nothing to do with the video, although her signature blonde wig does make a short cameo.
Fire meet gasoline is not an official music video, nor is it my new single. It's a lingerie commercial to which I licensed a song.

But with Sia’s artistic interests out of the picture, that may have allowed the video to dabble in some product placement. Sure, we’re used to seeing Klum nearly naked, but this time she is also plugging her new lingerie line, Heidi Klum Intimates.
