Meet German Electronic Sensations Claire as They Play Berlin Live

Up-and-coming electronic five-piece Claire, which just signed with Astralwerks Records in July, totally won over a Berlin crowd while performing as part of Yahoo's On The Road concert series this summer. The group's "wow factor" wasn't simply in effect due to the homeland audience -- Claire hails from Munich -- the magic came from its indefinable blend of musical reference points, groove-ability factor, and frontwoman Josie Claire Bürkle's stunning vocals.

Claire, which started out as a project between three of the members who shared a Munich studio in 2012, released its debut single "Games" officially in August, followed by the EP Broken Promise Land in September. They rapidly gained attention and an appreciative audience for their unique brand of synthpop.

Claire is gearing up to play its first-ever U.S. shows starting this week, including multiple shows during CMJ in New York City. Interested in catching the group live? You can keep up with their schedule here.
