Katy Perry and John Mayer have been very open about their feelings for one another, rarely shying away from on-camera PDA. While other superstar couples have shunned the spotlight (how often do you see Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin smooching for the camera?), these two singer-songwriters starred in videos together, did interviews on major talk shows discussing their relationship, and were photographed on plenty of romantic dates on both coasts.
Now that Perry and Mayer have reportedly called it quits, we take a look back at their cutest moments together. Warning — you may want to grab some tissues.
1. Their very first interview together on "Good Morning America"
During their first-ever interview as a couple just last December, the adorable pair talked to George Stephanopoulos about their first date, their shared love of music, and collaborating on Mayer's song "Who You Love." "It's a pretty big moving target to be a couple and have a song, but I think there's an authenticity to it," Mayer said of the romantic ballad. "It transcends us," Perry added. "It's more about the message of the song."
2. Their intimate duet in Mayer's "Who You Love" video
The romantic video for Mayer and Perry's duet "Who You Love" featured several shots of the "Roar" singer and her main man nuzzling, cuddling, and singing to one other. It also featured real-life couples from all walks of life riding a mechanical bull. The clip ended with Mayer and Perry riding the bull together as fireworks exploded overhead and they shot confetti cannons to celebrate their love. Sniff.
3. Their date night at President Obama's inauguration festivities
