It took nearly three months, but Kanye West finally has a response to Power 105 morning show co-host Charlamagne Tha God.
During a concert Thursday at Bryce Jordan University in University Park, PA, the opinionated rapper complained about his critics, calling out Charlamagne and MTV's Sway Calloway, who both interviewed him in November.
"Where did you go with your past 10 years of your motherf—king life Charlamagne, Sway?" he said to a thunderous applause.
During his three-minute rant, Kanye stressed that his naysayers should simply "shut the f—k up."
Kanye said this advice applied to radio show interviews, late night talk show bits, spoofs and blog posts.
"[We're] working hard on that sh-t," he said. "This ain't no joke."
Kanye even rapped impromptu, lyrics from his song "Can't Tell Me Nothin'."
Charlamagne berated the rapper during a November 26 interview with the Breakfast Club. The jock, a former Wendy Williams sidekick who is known for his no-holds barred interview style, called the rapper egotistical, said his "Bound 2" video with Kim Kardashian was horrible and that the "Yeezus" album sucked.
Kanye remained composed during the interview, offering little opposition to Charlamagne's attacks. However, the new father engaged to reality star Kim Kardashian didn't keep his cool when he appeared on the Sway in the Morning SiriusXM Radio show later that day.
When Sway asked Kanye why he didn't finance his fashion pursuits, the Chicago native screamed, "You ain't got the answers."
