The anticipation for pop star Justin Timberlake’s third album, The 20/20 Experience, is quickly building.
The artist scheduled to perform at the Grammys Sunday revealed the album cover artwork and track listing via Twitter on Wednesday. In the photo, most of Timberlake’s face is hidden behind an ophthalmologist’s phoropter, a play on the title’s 20/20 reference. He is dressed in a tuxedo, a tie-in to his debut single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z that is No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The album will include 10 songs with interesting titles like “Strawberry Bubblegum,” “Spaceship Coupe” and “Blue Ocean Floor.”
Timberlake performed “Suit & Tie” with Jay-Z at a pre-Super Bowl concert in New Orleans Saturday. According to reports, Timberland performed two additional new songs at the event, both were about love, possibly odes to his new bride, Jessica Biel.
Paul McCartney, John Legend and Sofia Vergara were among attendees. Timberlake producer Timberlake also performed with JT who also played some of his biggest hits, including “Cry Me A River,” “My Love” and “SexyBack.”
The 20/20 Experience is due out on March 19. Timberlake released his last album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, in 2006.
