Believe it or not: Music icon Cyndi Lauper is poised to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her record-setting debut album, "She's So Unusual" -- a groundbreaking release that turned her into a pop icon and launched the new wave feminist anthem "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."
Lauper likes to do things in a big way, and this anniversary is no exception: She's releasing a double-CD set on April 1 to commemorate the landmark, which includes the original album, rare demos, live concert recordings, and remixes by some of today’s hottest DJs and producers including NERVO, Bent Collective, and Yolanda Be Cool.
Yahoo Music is excited to offer a premiere of one of the live tracks, "Witness (Live, Boston, 1984)." Have a listen...and have fun!
Lauper has been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 7 American Video Awards and 18 MTV Awards. "She’s So Unusual: A 30th Anniversary Celebration" can be preordered here.
