If warmer temperatures approaching get you in the mindset for party music and the Warped Tour, you're sure to appreciate Hermosa Beach, Calif.-based band LIFE. Composed of founding members of West Coast favorites Tomorrows Bad Seeds, this group channels a grooving mix of ska, punk, reggae, and other influences, which may remind you of Sublime or Bad Brains.

Ready to get in a post-punk state of mind? Yahoo Music is excited to premiere a first listen to a track off the band's upcoming EP. Have a go at "Better Days" and let us know what you think!

Band member Sean Chapman had this to say about the new tune: "'Better Days' was written in [singer] Moi's living room. The lyrics talk about allowing yourself to move on and letting go of unclaimed baggage in one's love charade," he notes, adding, "Our forthcoming EP embodies our sense of eclecticism, fun, and a big sound that we pull from all sorts of influences."

The band's EP "R U D W N ?" will be released May 26. If you'd like to keep up with their schedule, visit here.
