Gwyneth Paltrow: I’m never going to Met Gala again

The world's most beautiful woman thinks the most fashionable event of the year is pretty ugly. Gwyneth Paltrow has slammed this year's NY Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala as being "so un-fun" that she refuses to attend the next time one comes around.

"I'm never going again," Paltrow told USA Today. "It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all."

The 40-year-old "Iron Man 3" star wore a bright pink Valentino gown to the star-spangled event on Monday night. She attended with husband Chris Martin, though the duo arrived separately to ensure their "private" relationship was not scrutinized.

Her words are a little startling, considering her best pal Beyoncé was the gala's honorary co-chair (and unofficial belle of the ball). Though Paltrow did reveal recently how uncomfortable she felt in the presence of another celeb's beauty -- the actress called Miranda Kerr the best-dressed of the night with a bit of a back-handed compliment.

"She's just so pretty, it's abnormal," the Oscar winner told Entertainment Weekly of the 30-year-old Kerr, who wore a skimpy Michael Kors bandeau dress to the gala. Paltrow even approached Kerr on the night in question and said, "Is it weird to be that pretty?" (According to the actress, Orlando Bloom's other half simply responded, "No.")

Funnily enough, Kerr told Us Weekly of the Met Gala, "It was a fun night -- a really fun night!"

To each her own!
