Betty Wright has been winning Grammys since 1972, but last year, she lost out to worthy opponent the Roots. And this year, she's nominated yet again...this time with the Roots! The two are jointly nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance.

Below in this fun interview, shot backstage this weekend at the Grammy rehearsals, the soul legend talks about how a friendly rivalry with the Roots last year led to their Grammy-worthy collaboration album, Betty Wright: The Movie.
