Game, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa And Tyga’s ‘Celebration’ Remakes Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s ’1st Of Tha Month’

Game is joined by Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa for an All-Star remake of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's 1995 classic "1st Of Tha Month."

Produced by Cool and Dre protégé SAP, "Celebration"'s track revives the original as each of the featured MCs puts on display his best rapid-fire flow. Tyga scores the standout lyric with, "Told me she ain't got nothin' on, I'm talkin' no tha-tha-tha-thoooong," interpolating how the Cleveland rappers rapped their name "Ba-ba-ba-boooone."

Despite having the song's final and shortest verse, Wiz Khalifa sounded the most like the 1990s hip-hop superstars Krayzie, Wish, Layzie, Bizzy and Flesh-N-Bone. Hopefully, he gets more bars in a forthcoming remix.

Game said "Celebration" is the perfect song to wrap up the summer. "I'm a big Bone fan and been thinking about flipping '1st Of Tha Month' for a while,'" he said in a statement. "'When Cool and Dre gave me the SAP beat, I started to call on my friends personally to lay verses on the song and make sure it came out the way I envisioned.'"

In addition to paying homage to Bone, the song's music video remakes Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Ain't Nothin' But A G Thang" barbecue visual.

"Celebration" is from Game's fifth studio album, Jesus Piece.
