Did Mariah Carey Lip Synch During Her BET Honors Performance?

Monday's broadcast of the BET Honors awards includes Mariah Carey's highly anticipated first televised performance of her new song, "You're Mine (Eternal)," but the event doesn't appear to be the only thing pre-taped.
The former American Idol judge sounded as if she was singing to a pre-recorded vocal track.

Save for her form-fitting and cleavage-baring black gown, the pop star kept her performance simple. She laid and kneeled atop of a baby grand piano as she offered her Valentine-themed song at the Time Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. earlier this month.
