Christina Aguilera is spreading the love. In the new video for her song "Let There Be Love," the 32-year-old pop star recruited her adorable 5-year-old son Max as well as her boyfriend Matthew Rutler and her gal pal Nicole Richie to help deliver feel-good messages to her fans.
The video features people holding up signs with positive messages including "equality," "racism sucks" and "don't judge," and shows many people flashing an "L" sign at the camera with their fingers – shorthand for "love." It also features a dog kissing a baby, same-sex couples smooching, and people dancing, skipping and hugging. It's a feel-good bonanza!
She kicks off the video holding a sign that says "Let there be love" while wearing a revealing one-piece bathing suit with the words "I love you" written all over it. It also shows off her impressive newly slim figure, which is reportedly a result of healthy eating and regular workouts.
Aguilera's adorable young son steals the show, busting some fun dance moves while wearing a fedora and red jeans.
It seems that the "The Voice" coach has really been feeling the love lately. On Wednesday, she wrote a lengthy letter to her fans, thanking them for their love and support over the years. "I wanted to reach out to my fans out there that continuously support me and have my back relentlessly throughout the years," she wrote. "I am so grateful and fortunate for your dedication. Your time & devotion. Your kindness and understanding. Your patience and compassion. I continue to work, create and deliver my best to you."
She concluded the letter by encouraging her fans to tune out negative people and "stay open and keep discovering the new adventures that await us."
"Let There Be Love" is the latest single from Aguilera's 2012 album, "Lotus."
