Talk about a serious stomachache.
Avicii canceled his performance at the Ultra Festival in Miami this weekend to undergo emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder. During the surgery doctors also removed his appendix after discovering that it had ruptured.
The "Wake Me Up" artist shared a note on Facebook about his medical prognosis on Friday. "It's a routine surgery and all going well, I expect to be fully recovered and back on my feet in time for my US True Tour. Thanks for your concern everyone, it means a lot to me!"
The 24-year-old performer also revealed in his Facebook message that he's "had issues in the past with my stomach and pancreatitis."
On Saturday, he took to Twitter to assure his fans that he was on the mend.
