Top 24 contestant Brett Loewenstern was an early favorite on "American Idol" last season, but he sadly left the show way too soon. So since my usual "Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield is out today, I figured this is a good time to have Brett be my special guest, so he can get the screentime he deserves and update his fans, the "Red Apples," on what he's been up to in the last year.
So today, Brett and I discuss last night's Galveston auditions and other highlights of Season 11 so far, and he offers some advice for other young "Idol" contestants going through what he had to deal with last year.
