American Idol, The Day After: Aspen Auditions Dish

Reality Rocks (New)

Last night, "American Idol" headed to Aspen, where a magical man named Magic Cyclops air-guitarred his way right into my heart. (And into my wardrobe, obviously, judging by my outfit today.) This wackjob comic genius's time in the "Idol" spotlight was cut short, tragically--or thankfully, according to my "Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield, who was giving Cyclops the side eye--but the dude's exit was soundtracked by the "Incredible Hulk" TV theme song, and now that makes me want to have every "Day After" episode end with a similarly Bill Bixbian walk of shame. Genius, I tell you, genius!

Anyway, Wednesday's  hour-long "Idol" episode featured a few more serious auditions (and a couple semi-serious ones, like by gonzo glitter-queen Angie Zeiderman), and today Matt and I discuss just who kicked a lot of Aspen last night.  Feel free to post comments about your own faves on the message board below.
