An unexpected cover of Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons" popped up this weekend: Bob Weir and Trey Anastasio performed an acoustic duet of the heart-wrenching pop ballad at Live Oak, Fla.'s Wanee Festival on Saturday (April 22).
The Grateful Dead and Phish musicians took the stage together for a short, stripped-down set, swapping vocals on the song's verses and giving a combined effort on the chorus. The two quickly conferred with one another before launching into the Joanne track, with Weir first taking lead on the moving lyrics.
The pair also performed "Deep Elem Blues," "Friend of the Devil," "Bird Song" and "Miss You," JamBase reports.
Weir was on the festival's lineup with his Campfire Band, while Anastasio was on the bill with the Trey Anastasio Band.
