The EDM scene is a house of horrors these days, or so it seems. This week, superstar DJ Deadmau5's iconic noggin was found floating in an L.A. swimming pool, and other footage revealed that Skrillex has made the missing persons list as well.
Luckily for dance music addicts getting ready to celebrate Halloween, these slayings are merely the stuff of frightful fiction. It's all part of a six-minute mini-horror film released September 30 in promotion of HARD Day of the Dead — a two-day dance music festival set to take place in Downtown Los Angeles November 2-3.
Headliners for the frightening fest include the aforementioned power players in addition to Calvin Harris, Baauer, and Pretty Lights. The Hitchcockian, film noir-inspired clip, directed by Agata Alexander, also features chilling cameos by a few other EDM favorites, including the Bloody Beetroots' Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, Skream, and Beni Giffin of popular DJ duo Jack Beats.
