They may be called One Direction, but soon they'll have five separate covers of British GQ. In the U.K., the men's style magazine will devote separate covers of its September issue to each member of the British boy band, and each has its own juicy cover line.
The Harry Styles issue has the quote, "It's definitely less than 100…" (you'll have to read the interview to find out what he's referencing here), followed by his name and a play on the Daft Punk hit: "He's up all night to get lucky."
On Louis Tomlinson's cover, he takes on the former mastermind of Oasis with the quote, "Noel Gallagher is not supposed to like our music." Your move, Noel, but be warned the cover also says, "Louis is no longer going to play nice." Noel must be quaking in his Beatle boots.
Liam Payne looks serious on his cover, which is accompanied by the quote, "Groupies? You're going to get me in trouble," and the tagline touts him as "Heavier, Rockier, Cooler." While he doesn't look like he's gained much weight and doesn't appear to be too rocky, he is wearing a coat to protect him from the chill.
Niall Horan is also sporting a coat in his cover shot, while the quote, "All I see is a sea of screaming faces," implies the poor lad is blind to everything else. And the tag line "Next stop: the universe" hints ol' Niall is a bit of a space boy.
Finally, there's Zayn Malik, who boldly states "They will build statues of us," while the cover line says he "brings the swagger." Wonder if birds like statues with swagger?
That's not all! Inside the actual issue, Styles addresses those nagging rumors that he's bisexual, saying he's "pretty sure" he's not, according to the Daily Mail. Getting a little more specific, the mag's reporter asked Styles to address rumors that his relationship with DJ Nick Grimshaw is more than just a friendship. "Oh, really? I didn't even know," Style responds. "We're not dating, no. We're just friends."
