Wynonna Judd shared good news this week regarding her husband, Cactus Moser, who tragically lost his leg following a motorcycle accident on August 18. Moser is well enough on his way to recovery that Judd feels able to resume her tour schedule, picking back up on August 30.
Judd noted in a statement that she and Moser appreciate and "feel loved" by the many messages they've received from around the world. "Cactus continues to improve every day as he begins his road to rehabilitation," she added. "We are looking forward to the day when we will be back together on stage again and I believe we will be stronger than ever."
The country star explained she'll be waiting "lovingly and patiently" for Moser to fully recover. In the meantime, she asks fans who'd like to show Moser support to consider a donation to Homes For Our Troops--an organization committed to helping military personnel who have returned home with serious disabilities--in his name.
"Cactus will be notified of every dollar donated in his name," Judd assures. "You can even include a message to him along with your donation."
Judd's tour will resume at the Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestwon, MI. She has also rescheduled the dates she missed the week of Moser's accident. You can check on her schedule here for full information.
