In the case that Taylor Swift's own version of her new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," wasn't already stuck in your head--here's another take on the tune that will be sure to have you smacking your skull in an attempt to stop humming it.
The band that dared take on Swift's rocket-fire hit--and possibly even made it catchier? This is the best part: It's pop-sensation brothers Hanson, who know a thing or two about creating sticky ditties. The three siblings, who are currently on tour in Australia, stopped by Aussie radio show Fifi And Jules and blew out this totally rad cover of the first single off Swift's upcoming Red album. (My personal favorite part? When Taylor Hanson says "Like, ever." Dude!)
What did Swift herself think of the cover? Suffice to say, she liked it! She tweeted on Tuesday: "1) Hanson covered 'We Are Never Getting Back Together'. 2) I didn't just watch the video of it 8 times in a row. 3) #2 might be a lie."
Can't blame Swift for loving it; we do too. Hanson also performed a stripped-down version of their massive 1997 hit "MMMBop" on the program, which you should definitely check out as well in the unlikely instance that you've never heard the song before. Perhaps Swift should reciprocate and do a version of that one? Now, that would be excellent!
