See It First! Weird Al Yankovic Totally Nails It With Iggy Azalea Parody 'Handy'

Iggy Azalea transformed into Cher Horowitz from Clueless in her "Fancy" video, but in his new Iggy parody clip, "Handy," Weird Al Yankovic is totally channeling Schneider from One Day at a Time. And he nails it.

This week, Al has outdone himself, releasing one music video a day from his 14th (yes, fourteenth) studio album, Mandatory Fun. And Yahoo Screen has the premiere of "Handy," which basically comes across as a very awesome cable access commercial for a local denim-vested repairman. Come to think of it, this video actually wouldn't be out of place running alongside Al's "Spatula City" spot on his sadly fictional Channel 62 station, in his classic cult movie UHF. (Incidentally, UHF turns 25 years old next week. Never change, Al. Never change.)

Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" is one of the biggest hits of 2014, and in his other videos of the week, Weird Al reinterprets (read: improves upon) other recent smash singles.

He turns Pharrell's "Happy" into "Tacky" — an ode to people who wear glitter Uggs and Ed Hardy shirts, use coupons on dinner dates, and prefer the font Comic Sans — with the help of tastelessly attired celebrities like Jack Black, Margaret Cho, and Aisha Tyler.

With "Foil," Al takes on Lorde's "Royals" and proves he's the King Bee of comedy. While the first verse of the song, dedicated entirely to espousing the merits of tinfoil as Al's preferred food-storage method, might have concerned fans thinking Al has finally run out of lyrical ideas, the real comedy gold (or tin, as it were) comes about one minute and 20 seconds in.

And Al gives Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" a totally SFW makeover, and creates the ultimate grammar police anthem, with "Word Crimes." This one should be played for apostrophe-averse students in every English class in America. And of course, it's way, way better than anything on Robin Thicke's disastrous latest album, Paula.
