Indie rockers Bloc Party released the album Hymns in January, and since then, the band has experienced internal changes -- original members Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack have been joined by newer members Justin Harris and Louise Bartle -- which in turn has resulted in an external change in sound.
This change is best heard on the group's latest single "Stunt Queen," a track that twists and turns down unexpected paths throughout, right until the final few seconds.

The single arrived Tuesday (Sept. 20), though the idea for the track first sprouted when the band was on tour in Australia at the start of this year. "It was an idea that we worked on at soundchecks and was one of the first ideas to come along after Justin and Louise joined the band," Okereke said in a press release.
Later this week (on Sunday), Bloc Party will play the Hollywood Bowl -- a "significant milestone for the band" and one they wanted to mark with a new release. Okereke said they are excited to not only be playing their biggest-ever headlining show in the U.S., but also to have released a new song all within the same week.
